It is rather discouraging for other periodontal patents that exraction is seen as a solution. It reads like you had a patent with periodontal disease isiting you regulary and there was nothing done to prevent the loss. Why pay for private treatment if the result is exactly the same?

I thought this was such a great way to showcase implant surgery to your patients and the wider public. Kudos for thinking about the concept! The more patients see and learn about implant dentistry, the more they will see how simple, straightforward and routine it can be. I 'Liked' this on FB but I wish there was a 'Liked at lot' button on FB. Well done Woodborough House!

An interesting fact is that snoring is so common (roughly 1 in 3 adults snore regularly) we've come to think of it as 'normal'. The reality, of course, is that even snoring is a loud, clear signal that the airflow is impaired while the person sleeps. In the case of sleep apnoea, breathing actually stops for periods of at least 10 seconds per event -- with stoppages of up to 2 minutes being recorded. In severe cases of apnoea, the sufferer may stop breathing 30 or more times per hour.

It's therefore not surprising that 'sleep disordered breathing' is linked to a wide range of serious consequences, including stroke, hypertension, type 2 diabetes, impotence, retarded metabolism and consequent morbidity, plus much more.

Snoring and apnoea really are conditions which should be treated, not tolerated. If you snore or have apnoea, or know someone who does, arrange a diagnostic sleep study as soon as possible.

Best wishes,

@SleepDoc10

I’m a single mom and I have 2 kids who both needed dental braces. I make just enough to not qualify Medicaid services so I can’t get free Treatment on dental hygienist. I had to pay over $4800 so that my child can have braces and a beautiful smile. . .She was very scared and timid at school. I couldn’t find anyone in Los Angeles who would do the braces at a normal price so I had to launch find it with free services likehttp://www.healthsouk.com (HealthSouk- the dental discount plan or discounted dentistry) and www.1800dentist.com (800 dentist) The first one was free and the second apparently charges the dentist but not me.healthsouk
