After two years here, it is with a heavy heart that Woodborough House waves goodbye to a treasured team member, Liv. As our receptionist and administrator, Liv’s gorgeous face is one of the first things our patients see as they walk through the door, and she has always been a welcoming, infectiously smiley asset to our patients’ experiences and the team as a whole. We wish her all the very best in the future and hope she’ll come and visit!! Best of luck, Liv!

“I applied for the role of Receptionist/Administrator at Woodborough House in March 2011, after seeing an advert in the local paper. As soon as I walked through the door on the day of my interview I was impressed by the homely and welcoming feel of the practice, and instantly fell in love with Cathy the Clinical Manager!

Since working here I have gained so many valuable skills. I’ve always been a talker(!) but I feel that working here has honed my communication skills, and I have become a far more organised and hard working person.

Sarah and Nick are great people to work for. They have a ‘work hard, play hard’ attitude and always treat the staff to Xmas dos, an annual summer BBQ which they host at their own home, and ad hoc dinner/drinks. There is a real family feel at Woodborough House, and though I’ve seen quite a few staff changes over the past 2 years, I think the team we have now is stronger than it’s ever been. There is a definite team ethos, and I feel that I have made some true friendships that I hope will last when I leave.

One of the things I have enjoyed most about working at Woodborough House is dealing with our patients. We have such an interesting variety of patients and I love chatting to them at the desk; putting the world to rights and finding out what’s going on in their lives! I have also found it very rewarding being part of the process of helping patients transform their smiles, or even something as simple as putting a nervous patient at ease.

I feel sad that my time at Woodborough House has come to an end – it feels like the end of an era and I will miss seeing my “family” every day. But I am really excited about what the future holds. I want to thank everyone at Woodborough for making the last 2 years of my life amazing. xxx”
