Sarah Fitzharris (Sarah Fahey) is the practice owner and lead clinician at Woodborough House Dental Practice. Sarah graduated in 1991 and worked in private practice in Auckland, New Zealand for three years before traveling to the UK. Sarah is an experienced dentist, having worked in private practices in Central London and Buckinghamshire before taking over at Woodborough House in January 2006.
Sarah has a special interest in preventative, cosmetic and family dentistry. She particularly enjoys developing a great empathy with her patients. She seeks to understand your clinical and emotional needs and provide exactly what you want. She is registered with Dental Phobia for her skills in dealing with nervous patients. ‘Dental Phobia’ has a database of dentists who must meet minimum criteria before they agree to include them in their database of certified providers. Also, if you are a nervous patient or just hate injections, Sarah uses the Wand STA system. The Wand is a pain free way of applying local anaesthetic when being numbed before treatment. It looks just like a fancy pen.
Sarah regularly attends post graduate courses and seminars. She has been on the committees of both The London Dental Study Club and The NZ Dental Study Club in London. Sarah has made several trips to the Pacific Islands to provide voluntary dental treatment for indigenous people in remote villages.
Many people know Sarah as Dr Sarah Fahey as she is married to principle dentist Dr Nick Fahey. However she goes by and uses her maiden name professionally as most of her patients know her by this.< BACK TO TEAM
