Replacement Teeth

Dentures are a well-established way of dealing with the problem of loose, missing, or damaged teeth. Sometimes referred to as false teeth, the dentures offered at Woodborough House offer a solid and stable fit that allow fantastic functionality when replacing some or all of your teeth.

Prosthodontics has come on in leaps and bounds in recent years. Tailored, hard-wearing dentures made out of a combination of acrylic resin and metal that are perfectly designed to fit your mouth are more comfortable than ever.

We have options for partial, complete, and implant-retained dentures, so no matter how many teeth need replacing, we’ll be able to meet your needs. We work alongside some of the UK’s leading denture technicians to provide you with the highest quality dental prosthetics.

Partial Dentures

If you’re missing a few teeth, but still have some remaining, partial dentures may be a good fit for you. Partial dentures are specially made for your mouth and clip onto your existing teeth. Although secure, dentures can be easily unclipped and removed to be thoroughly cleaned.

Complete Dentures

If you have a full arch of teeth that needs replacing, we can construct a complete set of dentures that look like the real thing. There are two types of complete dentures, Immediate and Conventional.

Immediate dentures are fitted as soon as you’ve had your teeth removed. Once in place, we’ll make any necessary adjustments to ensure they fit perfectly.

Conventional dentures will be fitted shortly after you’ve had your teeth removed. Before these are fitted, they’ll be matched to the shape of your mouth.

Implant Retained Dentures

For the most secure prosthetic solution, we recommend implant-retained dentures. These use a combination of dental implants and dentures to permanently fix your replacement teeth to your jaw bone. This gives them unmatched stability and functionality.

Dental implants are small titanium posts that are surgically placed into your jawbone. These posts are used to hold dentures firmly in position. Once the implants have fused to your jaw bone, you’ll enjoy the stability that matches natural teeth.
