Introducing our brand new iTero!
We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of dental technology at Woodborough House, as it ultimately means that our patients receive the best possible care and treatment. For this reason, we can’t wait to introduce the latest edition to our collection of state-of-the-art equipment – the brand new iTero Element.
The iTero Element has been available for some time for orthodontic and invisalign work. In fact our good friends at Park Lane Orthodontics have had theirs for a couple of months. However, the iTero Element work flow for restorative dentistry had not been released in Europe for all sorts of boring political issues.
As you know, we were the one of the first dental practices to use iTero Element for restorative dental work in the UK. The new iTero Element will put us back at the forefront of intraoral scanning technology. It will be arriving next month and we can’t wait to introduce iTero to our patients – it will makeintraoral scanning even more fun! Who likes nasty dental impressions anyway….
Not to mention the huge leap forward in technology… just to get a little geeky for a moment – The iTero element capture rate is 20 times faster than our current Itero scanner and the iTero Element is engineered to capture 6,000 frames per second —significantly more than the current iTero’s 800 frames per second.
Increased scanning speed and accuracy combined with the opportunity to provide same day dentistry with in house milling will continue to keep Woodborough House and its patients firmly at the forefront of world dentistry.
Many thanks to Nav for modelling for us! Nav will be using iTero for treatments including Invisalign and will be able to show patients their smile transformation before they have started treatment after their treatment using the simulator program on iTero.
If you would like to transform your smile with Nav – call 0118 984 3108 to book an appointment.
*From June – September you can book a FREE consultation with Nav (this includes X-Rays and is subject to availability).
